1. Who We Are

This Privacy Policy describes how Aaron Dotterer PLLC, doing business as Dott Real Estate Group, a team with Real Broker, LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”), collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit vip.insidethevalley.com or insidethevalley.com (the “Sites”), enter the Fall Into Your Home VIP Sweepstakes, participate in the VIP Award Program, or otherwise communicate with us.

Our mailing address is 2162 E Williams Field Rd, Suite 111, Gilbert, AZ 85295. Aaron Dotterer is a licensed Arizona real estate salesperson (SA669591000) with Real Broker, LLC (Designated Broker: Courtney Yant, BR633471000).

By using the Sites or submitting information to us, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Sites or submit information.

2. Information We Collect

Information you give us directly. When you enter the Sweepstakes or otherwise submit a form, we collect:

  • Your first and last name, mobile phone number, and email address.
  • Your answers to the entry questionnaire, including the type of home you are interested in, your purchase timeline, budget range, stage in your home search, motivation, decision-maker status, financial readiness, and the written response you provide.
  • Your consent to receive text messages and emails, and the date and time that consent was given.
  • Any information you provide when you reply to our messages, book a session, or communicate with us by phone, text, email, or social media.

Referral information. If you enter through a referral link shared by another entrant, we record the referring entrant’s email address on your entry. If you share your own referral link, your email address is embedded in that link and will be recorded on the entries of people who use it.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Sites, we and our service providers may automatically collect:

  • The referral source or channel that brought you to the Site (for example, a parameter in the link you clicked identifying which of our social media accounts or partners referred you).
  • Device and browser information, IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, pages viewed, time on page, and similar usage data.
  • Information stored in cookies, session storage, and similar technologies (see Section 8).

Information from third parties. We may receive information about you from social media platforms when you interact with our accounts, from advertising platforms, and, if you become a client, from lenders, title companies, inspectors, and other transaction participants at your direction.

We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, government identification numbers, or precise geolocation through the Sites.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to:

  • Administer the Sweepstakes — record your entry, enforce the one-entry-per-person limit by matching email and phone, conduct the drawing, verify and notify the winner, and publish the winner’s first name, last initial, and city as described in the Official Rules.
  • Operate the VIP Award Program — evaluate your questionnaire responses against our program eligibility criteria, notify selected recipients, and deliver program services.
  • Communicate with you — send confirmation, results, program, and onboarding messages by text and email; respond to your questions; and, with your consent, send Phoenix-area real estate information, market updates, and offers.
  • Provide real estate services — if you engage us as your agent, to perform the services in your agreement.
  • Improve our Sites and marketing — understand which channels and content bring people to us, measure the performance of campaigns, and improve the entry experience.
  • Protect our business and comply with law — detect and prevent fraud, duplicate or automated entries, and abuse; enforce our Official Rules and terms; comply with legal obligations, including real estate licensing, tax reporting for prize winners, and record-keeping requirements.

Automated evaluation. Your questionnaire responses are scored automatically. Multiple-choice answers are assigned point values, and your written response is evaluated using an artificial-intelligence language model to classify how specific and detailed it is. The resulting score determines whether you are considered for the VIP Award Program and how we prioritize outreach. This automated evaluation does not affect your chance of winning the Sweepstakes drawing, which is random. A human (Aaron Dotterer) reviews entries before any VIP Award is offered, and you may ask us to explain or review the outcome of the automated evaluation by contacting us at the address in Section 12.

We do not use your information to make decisions about housing availability, price, or terms, and our eligibility criteria do not consider race, color, religion, sex, national origin, familial status, disability, or any other characteristic protected under the Fair Housing Act or Arizona law.

4. Text Messages and Email

When you check the consent box on our entry form, you agree to receive text messages and emails from us at the number and address you provided, including messages sent using automated technology. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out; reply HELP for help. Consent to receive messages is not a condition of purchase. Opting out of texts does not withdraw your Sweepstakes entry.

Text messages are sent through a registered business messaging number. Records of your consent, opt-outs, and message history are retained as required by telecommunications regulations.

To unsubscribe from email, use the unsubscribe link in any email or contact us directly.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

We share personal information only as follows:

  • Service providers. We use third-party vendors to operate the Sites and our programs, including form and funnel hosting, customer-relationship management, text and email delivery, workflow automation, database hosting, artificial-intelligence text evaluation, analytics, and video and scheduling tools. These providers process information on our behalf under contracts that restrict their use of it to providing services to us.
  • Real Broker, LLC. As our sponsoring brokerage, Real Broker, LLC may have access to client and transaction records as required by Arizona real estate law and brokerage policy.
  • Transaction participants. If you become a client, we share information with lenders, title and escrow companies, inspectors, appraisers, home-warranty providers, builders, and other parties necessary to your transaction, at your direction or as required to perform our services.
  • Legal and safety. We may disclose information to comply with law, regulation, legal process, or a governmental request; to enforce our Official Rules, agreements, or policies; to protect the rights, property, or safety of our business, our clients, or the public; or in connection with an investigation of fraud or security issues.
  • Business transfers. If our business is sold, merged, or reorganized, personal information may be transferred to the successor, subject to this Policy.
  • With your consent. We share information for any other purpose with your consent — for example, if you agree to be featured in a client spotlight.

Sweepstakes winner. The Platinum Prize winner’s first name, last initial, and city of residence will be announced publicly as described in the Official Rules and may be provided to anyone who requests the winner’s list.

6. Data Retention

We retain Sweepstakes entry records, consent records, and scoring records for at least the period required by law and by our messaging provider’s compliance requirements, and in any event for the duration of the current campaign season plus a reasonable period to resolve disputes and honor prize obligations. Client and transaction records are retained as required by Arizona real estate law (generally at least five years after closing). Marketing contact information is retained until you opt out or ask us to delete it, subject to the retention required for consent and opt-out records. You may request deletion as described in Section 9.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including access controls, encrypted connections to our service providers, and restricted credentials. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

8. Cookies, Session Storage, and Analytics

The Sites use cookies and browser storage for the following purposes:

  • Essential operation. Our entry form temporarily stores your email address and the referral channel in your browser’s session storage so that your personal referral link can be generated and the correct branding is displayed. This data is cleared when you close the browser tab.
  • Analytics and advertising. We may use analytics and advertising tools (for example, Meta and TikTok pixels) to measure traffic and campaign performance and to show our content to people who have visited the Sites. These tools may set cookies and collect device and usage information.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some features of the Sites. We do not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals, but we honor Global Privacy Control signals where required by law.

9. Your Choices and Rights

Regardless of where you live, you may:

  • Opt out of texts by replying STOP, and out of emails via the unsubscribe link.
  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of your information, subject to our legal retention obligations (for example, consent and opt-out records, Sweepstakes winner records, and transaction records we are required to keep).
  • Ask about automated evaluation of your entry, as described in Section 3.

To exercise these rights, contact us at the address in Section 12. We will verify your identity by matching the information in your request against the information we hold and may ask for additional confirmation. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws. You may have additional rights under your state’s law, including the right to know the categories of information collected and the purposes for which it is used, the right to opt out of targeted advertising, and the right to appeal a denied request. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, except that advertising pixels on the Sites may be considered “sharing” or “targeted advertising” under some state laws; you may opt out of those by adjusting your cookie settings or contacting us. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision, and we will respond within the time required by your state’s law.

10. Children

The Sites and our programs are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

The Sites and our messages may link to third-party websites, scheduling tools, social media platforms, and lender or vendor sites. Those parties have their own privacy practices, which we do not control. Our social media accounts are subject to the privacy policies of the platforms that host them.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top indicates when it was last revised. Material changes will be posted on the Sites, and where required by law we will notify you directly. Your continued use of the Sites after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.

14. Relationship to Other Documents

This Policy supplements the Fall Into Your Home VIP Sweepstakes Official Rules and any program or buyer representation agreement you enter into with us. In the event of a conflict regarding the Sweepstakes, the Official Rules control. In the event of a conflict regarding real estate services, your written agreement with us controls.
